Crash-Test Data Analysis - Frontal Impacts
Mikulášková, Lucie ; Ptáček, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
In this thesis are solved the problematics of crash tests. It is focused primarily on front impacts with full or part overlap. In the introduction are described the best known methods used in forensic - engineering practice for determination of energy equivalent speed (EES). Exactly specified impact tests, which are part of passive safety, are being addressed by several organizations around the world. In the practical part of this diploma thesis are solved four frontal impact tests, which were documented with the participation of the Institute of Forensic Ingeneering BUT in Brno.. These impact tests were performed to capture and analyze the data, resulting in the deformation energy used for permanent damage to the vehicle. Subsequently, the EES parameters were set for each vehicle.
Leisure Time Activities of Mentally Challenged and Disabled Adults
KRONIKOVÁ NOVOTNÁ, Lenka
Possible leisure time activities for handicapped and multihandicapped adults Experiencing leisure time is an integral part of modern human being, including handicapped person. Therefore, it´s important to spend it as meaningfully as possible. My bachelor thesis focuses on possible leisure time activities for handicapped and multihandicapped adults compared to such activities in healthy individuals. The main goal was to identify free time activities of persons with disabilities. The thesis is divided in to two parts a theoretical one and practical one. A theoretical one is concerned with basic characteristics of characteristics of health, mental and combined disability. Terminology, etiology and classification for each type are described. Furthermore, a definition of leisure time, its types and possible activities are elaborated on. The end of a theoretical part explains potential problems with experiencing leisure time for handicapped persons. A practical part takes a larger portion of my thesis. Qualitative research approach was chosen to gather data using semi-structured interviews. These were analyzed via clustering method. Two groups were interviewed, the main one consisting of 10 handicapped persons and a control one with 10 people without disabilities. Most interviewed took place in Home of sv. Anežka in Týn nad Vltavou, Sheltered housing Duha in Písek, which fall under control of Home for disabled people Zběšičky. Few additional interviews took place in Písek and Týn nad Vltavou.
